Today is the girls' first day of school. Gaby started junior high!!!! She says it is "cool"! She also had her first cross country meet today in Eastlake. Teams from Eastlake, Chardon, Riverside, and Kirtland were there. Gaby finished 13th with a time of 15:33(2 miles). She finished third on her team with the other teammates finishing 10th and 12th place. They were awesome!!!!!
Cassidy said she was disappointed with the fact that this year because they are in the trailer, they have no locker...only a cubby and a hook. I explained,"sometimes you give up things in life to get others". Air conditioning for lockers!!!! Lindsay called today to tell us that she went in the ocean and got swept under and came up without her glasses. Oh boy....life lessons suck sometimes.....huh, Lin??
Oh, btw....training stinks right now.........so many mental and personal distractions. I have vowed to kick my ass and get with the program tomorrow at 6:00a.m. Gaby has re- motivated me after watching the kids run today.
